Sorry I didn’t get an update out last night. It’s been a crazy, but wonderful couple of days so far! On Monday we started working with the refugee kids. In the morning we are at one location playing ESL game, helping them read, teaching math, playing games, and helping them to focus during the Bible lesson where the Gospel is shared. At this location they have had about 150 kids and adults showing up for their programs.

Then in the afternoon our group splits and we do it all over again at different locations. It’s at one of these locations where we teach swim lessons. It’s a fun time. Our students have been so great with the kids. I’m really proud of them. They have handled the heat, and the long days very well. We still have a few more days, but we’re already sad that we’re halfway done.

Pray that our group would be encouraging to each other and to the people with whom we interact.

Pray that we might have clear opportunities to share the Gospel.

We’re excited to tell you all our stories of how God is working in our lives! If you haven’t already, you should download the Periscope app for smartphones and search for HEFstudents so that you can watch live video from different parts of our trip. So until then, I’ll leave you with a couple more pictures.
