The youth ministry at Harvest exists to help teenagers understand what it means to follow Jesus. We are about teenagers encountering God, making friends, growing together and making a difference. It’s about the abundant life that is found in a personal relationship with Christ. It is our belief that teenagers are not the church of tomorrow, but they are part of the church of today. We strive to encourage and equip students to bring glory to God in their schools, in their homes, in the church and in their communities. A teenager’s world is constantly changing, but we desire them to experience that the word of God doesn’t change. This is the stability they need to live out the plans God has in store for them.

OUR NAME:
L3 stands for three things that as a group we want to understand, embrace and live.
- The first “L” is for LEFT where in John 5:24 in the NCV it says we have left death.
- The second “L” is for LIFE, because we want to be a group of individuals that live life to the full. (John 10:10)
- The final “L” is for LOVE, because we want to be people who love God and love others. (Matthew 22:37-40)
OUR PROGRAMS!
Programs at L3 are designed to provide students with something they can understand and be excited about wherever they are on their spiritual journey. We want to provide opportunities for students to grow in their relationships with Christ and build healthy and encouraging relationships with other people.
LARGE GROUP NIGHTS:
Sunday nights:
Jr. High (4:30 – 6:30pm) – youth room
High School (7:30 – 9:00pm) – youth room
Our desire for Sunday nights is to provide a place for teenagers to worship, grow, share, and serve. During our times together we have games, worship, creative videos, teaching, testimonies, food and so much more. Our desire for Sunday nights is to provide a safe place for teenagers to build relationships with one another and hear about who God is and what He has planned for their lives.
SMALL GROUPS:
Wednesday nights (6:30 – 9:00pm) – various locations
Our small groups are designed to give those students who want a chance to get closer to each other and talk about what God is doing. We believe that students grow best in small groups. The small groups are gender based because we believe that it helps the students to feel comfortable sharing. Our groups are led by awesome men and women who give freely to invest in the lives of the teenagers they work with. Most small group nights include food, prayer, encouragement and time to study the Bible and discuss what God is teaching them.
SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Sunday mornings (10:00 – 10:45am) – youth rooms
Sunday school is really designed to help students dig deeper into the Bible and to address “heart” issues. We use this time to look at issues such as theology, world views, relationships, and how to manage money. It is a great chance to get together and learn more about God’s plan for our lives.
